Plan and implement large-scale vision clinics quarterly at UPMC Mercy Pavilion, providing low to no-cost vision services to hundreds of patients.

Mission of Mercy

Direct the Vision Services Section of the annual Mission of Mercy event at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, which offers free vision, dental, and hearing services to thousands of patients.

Clinical Device Trials – UPMC Ophthalmology

Work with cross-functional technical teams internally and externally to develop & implement trials of remote ophthalmic devices that inform care delivery across all programs.

Meta Reality Labs User Research

Collected, annotated, and evaluated user data to support photorealistic avatar generation in the Metaverse.

UPMC Mobile Vision Clinics

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, community partners, and Federally Qualified Health Centers to facilitate pop-up mobile vision clinics that provide low to no-cost services to patients in the Pittsburgh region.

PA Eye Day

Manage UPMC Ophthalmology’s participation in the annual, state-wide diabetic retinopathy screening event across multiple clinical sites in and outside of the UPMC ecosystem to screen as many eligible patients as possible.

Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Program

Monitor 40+ retinal screening cameras embedded in and outside of the UPMC Ophthalmology ecosystem in Pennsylvania and Maryland, training primary care staff and optimizing workflows.
