Zeila Hobson
Mixed Methods User Experience Researcher, Project Manager & Multi-Disciplinary Writer
About
Zeila holds a Bachelors of Science in Forensic Psychology and is passionate about effectively leading a variety of projects/programs. Because UX research and strategy can inform the development of any product in any industry, Zeila is passionate about leveraging user experience research to design technical hardware, digital products, customer experiences and more.
She built the UXR department at REEA Global, managing a wide birth of research projects from conception to design recommendations, including contract development and proposal pitch decks. Before leading the REEA UXR effort, Zeila engaged with user research teams at Meta Reality Labs to implement large-scale user research and design pilot studies to address UXR concerns from the general study. She also founded a sustainable fashion business that she sold to another reseller and has contributed to multiple online and printed publications as a freelance writer and social media manager/content strategist.
Originally from a rural village in Pennsylvania that you’ve probably never heard of, she is now based in Pittsburgh. She loves books, Peloton, yoga, and spending time outdoors.
